David Miller | President
David Miller oversees construction and renovation of all of McDougal's multifamily housing and commercial properties, as well as similar projects for third-party clients. He has more than thirty years of experience with new developments, working closely with project engineers, architects and local building officials. David has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Texas Tech University.
Richard Wilkins | CLR
Richard Wilkins is McDougal Construction’s lead project manager. He oversees the day-to-day operations of multifamily housing, commercial, remodel and renovation projects. Richard establishes budgets, schedules, writes and issues contracts and scopes of work, and coordinates with employees and subcontractors onsite to ensure a quality and on-time product is built. Richard has over 15 years of experience in the construction field holding positions from assistant superintendent, superintendent, assistant project manager and project manager to currently, lead project manager. He has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and Applied Economics with an emphasis in Finance and Master’s Degree in Construction Management.
James Stapleton | Lead Superintendent - Multifamily Housing
James Stapleton has over 20 years of experience in the multifamily framing industry. As a company owner, he framed over ten garden style and wrap projects. As a general superintendent for a large multifamily framing company, he oversaw over 20 large multifamily garden style and wrap projects across the nation. James also has over 15 years of experience as a lead superintendent on garden style and wrap multifamily projects as well as multi-building assisted living and retirement projects. James has built three garden style multifamily projects while employed at McDougal Construction totaling 1,035 total units.
Will Beaty | Lead Superintendent - Commercial
Will Beaty has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry in commercial construction. Will has been the lead superintendent on multiple commercial new construction, remodel and renovation projects while employed at McDougal Construction. Will is experienced in light gauge metal framing, structural gauge metal framing, structural steel framing, and wood framing. Will has been the lead superintendent over The Pioneer Hotel Renovation Project for the last four years and has guided the renovation and rebuild of the 11-story, 80-year old building, turning it into a commercial and residential multi-use building, like none other in Lubbock.
