Renee Furr


Renee was born and raised in Lamesa, TX. Prior to moving to Lubbock, her professional career began in banking. After moving to Lubbock, she attained a BA from Lubbock Christian University with an emphasis in accounting and business marketing. Renee would go on to serve in key roles with companies in the Lubbock area who focused on the agriculture industry and also worked for U.S. Senator Phil Gramm, as well as serving as Director of Admissions for Lubbock Christian Schools. Renee is actively engaged in the agricultural enterprise of growing both organic cotton and organic peanuts for commercial and private use.

 

Renee is proudly involved in the Lubbock community. Renee currently acts as Sponsor and Advisor for two Women’s Social Clubs at Lubbock Christian University, and also served as President of the Associates of LCU, a distinguished group of Christian Women volunteers. A member of South Plains Church of Christ she enjoys teaching youth bible class and especially loves spending time with her family and grandchildren.
